EdgeTX Fest 2026 - Celebration of EdgeTX 5th birthday!

Our 2026 EdgeTX Fest, together with our project's 5th birthday celebrations, were carried out at the Weston Park Model Airshow in West-Midlands in the United Kingdom.

During the three event days, event’s attendees had the opportunity to meet some of the people behind EdgeTX development and project management. We displayed in our booth a variety of EdgeTX driven radios, and all visitors could have a hands-on experience with our software and supported hardware. Like every year, thanks to our sponsors, all radios shown were then raffled to visitors who decided to participate.

To show EdgeTX capabilities this year we prepared a RC controlled ball-maze and a 3D printed model forklift and warehouse shelves. Both were very popular attractions and many, also younger visitors, could try to manoeuvre the palettes using an EdgeTX radio.

To celebrate EdgeTX 5th birthday, we had a RC radio shaped cake made by Perfectly Plum Cakes. A big shout out to Tor Swann for doing an absolutely amazing job with the cake.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who joined us at the 2026 Fest to celebrate the 5th year of EdgeTX. Your overwhelming presence and engaging interactions made this event truly unforgettable. A big congratulations to all the lucky drawing winners!

Thanks to our sponsors, we were able to distribute over 20 radio transmitters and a large number of further accessories and merchandise to our guests.

A special shout-out to our event sponsors RadioMaster, Flysky, Jumper and BetaFPV for their generous contributions of prizes and giveaways. We'd also like to express our deep appreciation to the Weston Park Model Airshow organization team for their invaluable collaboration in planning and executing this phenomenal event and to Ian Lewis (YouTube's Mads Tech) for helping out with logistics.

EdgeTX Fest 2026 took place next to Weston Park Model Airshow 2026

Dates: June 19th to 21st, 2026

Times

  • Friday: 10 AM until 5:30 PM

  • Saturday: 10 AM until 5:30 PM with evening dusk air show from 8:30 PM to 11 PM

  • Sunday: 10 AM until 5:30 PM

Location: Weston-under-Lizard, Shifnal TF11 8LE, United Kingdom

Activities:

  • EdgeTX booth with demo radios – Meet the team and try out EdgeTX on a variety of radios
  • Try out to control a RC operated model forklift and/or ball-maze game via EdgeTX radio (no age limit for trying both gizmos out)
  • Prize drawings of the demo radios will take place at 5 PM at each event day.

Demonstrations and Prizes

The following radios and accessories will be up for display and the visitors will be able to try them out and win them in the raffles* (the participation in the raffles is free):

* The organizing team will do their very best to be able to demonstrate and distribute items as listed, but will not guarantee the list, e.g. due to shipping problems of the items to the event. The demos and prizes will be split as evenly as possible between the event days.

Special Notes:

Filming and photographing will occur during EdgeTX Fest 2026. Participants of events and raffles agree to their picture being taken and to be used by EdgeTX and event sponsors on their website and social media.

Must be 18 or older to be eligible to win prizes. Minors need to be accompanied by an adult.

To be able to win at raffles, must be present at the time of the drawings. If your name is called and you are not there, then you will forfeit the prize and another name will be drawn.

Only a single item or a set can be won by a participant per event day. After winning the first item and by drawing the same name again, another name will be drawn.
